We are working a fantastic new role for a leading business who produce liquid coolant & Lubricants

for electric infrastructure. They make a world class product and supply into leading global businesses.

The Role

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the buyer be the Procurement Lead for a major part of the business. This role would be ensuring the business have the right suppliers and capabilities to support the business expectations.

• Sourcing and Resourcing products to meet business needs

• Source new suppliers in demand with customer needs

• Ensure suppliers adhere to QMS Standards (ISO9001)

• Compliance with purchasing and policy procedures

• Liaise with Manufacturing to determine product needs

The Person

To be considered, they will need someone who fits the following key criteria;

• A minimum of 3 years experience in purchasing

• Experience in a manufacturing environment

• Ideally have experience of procurement in the chemical industry

• Qualified or studying CIPS (Level 6 or OEM)

• Ability to learn new processes quickly
