Electrical Design Engineer - MEP Contractor - High-Rise Residential

£50k + Package - Central London.

I am working on behalf of a leading MEP Contractor, who is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to work across numerous High-Rise Residential projects.

The Role:

The Electrical Design Engineer will be expected to develop, progress and deliver designs through construction stage design delivery on high rise, high end residential projects in Central London. Reporting to the Design Manager, the Engineer will be of importance when checking and validating designs of our appointed specialists.

You will work with the Design and Commercial teams to determine design requirements, reporting into the Design Manager.

The Individual:

• You must have great communication skills and be able to communicate where blockers, delays and insufficient information is evident.

• The chosen Electrical Design Engineer must be a team player in order to work alongside in house and externally appointed BIM Engineers to incorporate required level of design and co-ordination suitable to install and achieve Client acceptance.

• Experience working in AutoCAD, Navis and BIM.

• BEng in Engineering, ideally Chartered Engineer

Essentials:

• High rise housing and Stage 5 Design is essential (RIBA Stage 5 is a particular focus)

• Can work with AMTECH & DILUX

• Working knowledge of Revit & AutoCAD

• High-Rise Residential project experience

• Proficient IT skills

• Can do approach to work and advanced problem solving skills
