Position Overview: As an Electrical Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of our data centre project in Amsterdam. You will be responsible for managing all aspects related to electrical quantity surveying, ensuring accurate cost estimation, procurement, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining project efficiency, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimations for electrical components of the data centre project.
• Collaborate with the project team to develop accurate project budgets and cost plans.
• Source and evaluate subcontractor quotations, negotiating contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Monitor project expenditure, providing timely cost reports and forecasts to stakeholders.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions without compromising project quality.
• Review and approve variations, ensuring they align with project requirements and budgets.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in electrical quantity surveying.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the construction or data centre industry.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and installations.
• Proficiency in quantity take-off software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is advantageous but not required.
• Right to work in Netherlands
