HSE Advisor - Data Centre Project - Denmark

I am currently looking for a HSE Advisor for a prestigious construction business based in Amsterdam. There is an excellent package on offer - market leading base salary, accommodation, flights, living allowance, bonus etc.

Key Duties:

  • To provide advice and communicate Health, Safety, Environment and Quality policies, procedures and standards ensuring that all legislation, directives, procedures, and specifications are being met
  • Champion the health and safety function, and safe working practices across the company
  • Ensure that all personnel are aware of their statutory duties and responsibilities, and to provide advice as and when required.
  • Review, support and prepare required Risk assessment and methods statements
  • Support HSE Manager with designated requirements
  • Support project function with reviews, RAMS and advise on Construction, design, and process management
  • Carry out regular inspections on site to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with Company Policy, Procedures, and the relevant Statutory Provisions.
  • Carry out accident/incident investigations in accordance with the Company Accident/Incident Reporting Procedure and analysing all data, making recommendations to avoid any recurrences
  • Maintain records as necessary to ensure compliance with Statutory Legislation and Contract Requirements.
  • Carry out site inductions and other training as required.
  • Participate in HSE meetings and provide updates
  • Assist in the preparation & review of project SHEQ documents
  • Promote the health and safety ethos and culture at all levels within the Company

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience working as HSE Manager on a mission critical, high risk construction project
  • NVQ Level 7 or NEBOSH diploma
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Excellent understanding of HSE procedures and environmental factors
  • Right to work in Ireland
