I am currently working with a client who is on the lookout for an intermediate M&E QS working on a Data Centre project which is located close to Basingstoke. This is an excellent opportunity for an assistant mechanical and electrical quantity surveyor to make the step up to intermediate or for an intermediate M&E quantity surveyor to step into the ever growing data centre market.

The client

The client which I am currently working with is a market leader within the mechanical and electrical data centre market both overseas and here in the UK. This particular client is cash rich having turned over £400M during a pandemic, the data centre projects they're working on show no sign of slowing and are only getting busier.

This particular client is family owned and like to promote career progression within.

Job Role:

• For this role you will be an Intermediate M&E QS working on Data Centre projects.

• Liaising with the client and different departments.

• Assisting on VO's

• Communicating clearly and confidently to a professional standard

• Assisting the Commercial manager or lead on the project.

• Advise project management on some contractual implications of intended course of actions.

• Provide fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimates.

Personal Specification:

• You must have Mechanical & Electrical experience.

• Degree or equivalent in quantity surveying.

• 3 years ' experience from a mechanical and/or electrical background.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Confidence to communicate in a professional manor with clients and other departments.
