Are you looking for a new role as a BIM Coordinator?
Have you got the development and skills to be able to fit in the evolution of a fast moving team within Central London?
Working within a team of design engineers to liaising with clients and internal staff through onsite and offsite meetings. You will be able to work alone as well as within a team.
My client is looking for individual with a wealth of experience of the UK market and commercial property experience. It is essential that they have 5+ years of the BIM/ Revit MEP.
The day to day responsibilities & Duties:
Use MEP engineering knowledge, experience and understanding to apply technical and practical engineering coordination skills in a BIM environment with great knowledge of the UK market
Capable of creating and managing projects in a cloud based common data environment, such as Autodesk BIM 360.
Shares Revit models with other relevant parties.
Coordinating meetings between different levels of the business to ensure project delivery is met.
Budgeting costs and clash detection of models before they are delivered to the client.
Collaborates with software programmers and BIM experts to define and implement automated workflows within the MEP department.
Checking & reviewing designs from peers.
Onsite & Offsite reviews
Experience / Qualifications:
Sufficient and relevant experience in MEP industry in BIM, Modelling and Design Coordination.
Having an expert knowledge of 3D modelling in AutoDesk REVIT MEP.
Experience with 3D review tools such as AutoCAD & BIM is essential (minimum 5+ years)
Collaborate with MEP Engineers to automate MEP design workflows in REVIT with the use of DYNAMO scripts.
Have experience of BIM processes
Essential experience in Building Services
Have a Degree and/or qualification in relevent subjects of Modelling (HND/HNC or equivalent)
