We are currently looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for our prestigious client who are a well-known Automotive Tier 1 supplier based in Warrington. This is a permanent opportunity with salaries ranging from £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.

The Role

The manufacturing engineer will be responsible for providing engineering support to the manufacturing teams and to the project team for the launch of new products. you will also leads and implement engineering change and productivity improvements into the plant. Other responsibilities include

  • Defining plant specific equipment (from specification to realisation)

  • Assisting in defining Standard Operation Procedures for production operators in accordance with best practices and POMS

  • Providing administrative support within SAP, product files, laboratory reports, quality tests, transports.

  • Management of serial modifications requested by customer

  • Management of industrial modifications / installations

  • Engineering change management and implementation

  • Technical feasibility studies, PFMEA's, verification of equipment versus standards,

  • Safety assessments

  • Reception of equipment

  • Incident and accident analysis

The Person

  • Educated to Bachelor degree level preferably in Engineering

  • Experience in manufacturing environments would be highly beneficial

  • Experience in applying Lean Manufacturing tools,

  • Open-minded attitude
