Material Planner / Contract / Automotive / West Midlands

Core Talent are partnered with an Automotive business in the West Midlands to find a Material Planner on an initial 6 month contract basis. The role of the successful Material Planner is to verify that production line delivery aligns with minimum stock targets and logistics costs.

The Role:

* To review stock holding in line with keeping stocks to a minimum level with high stock turns

* To look at all new products and ensuring minimum obsolescence on run out or change control

* To always look at continuous improvements by using KPI's

* Procurement of materials in-line with production and sales requirements

* Develops suppliers and the supply chain reducing costs and inventory levels as per company targets
