Life Sciences New Build Project

THE CLIENT

My client is an exciting and fast-growing business with a new UK Business Unit and a solid presence in European Advanced Construction

They are delivering a high-tech, cutting edge Life Sciences project in the Oxford area

NB This is initially a project-based position (3 months full-time on site) with eventual Regional responsibilities (multiple projects).

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a genuinely one-of-a-kind opportunity to join a growing business in advanced technology construction projects at a period of their growth where you'll be in at the "ground floor"

You will initially be responsible for 1 project, with more in the pipeline. You will be working closely with Engineers, Construction Managers and the Project Manager on site.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible, as the Project QS, for:

- Management of the budget & financial tracking on the Mechanical package of a construction project;

- Liaison with client & stakeholders to provide an accurate commercial picture of the project;

- Management of subcontractor applications, applications into client, variations, EWMs, risk register, etc.
