Core Talent Recruitment are currently on the lookout for a Mechanical Site Manager to join a leading M&E subcontractor in the East London area. This is a permanent role, initially to oversee the installation of the mechanical packages on 3 floors of a commercial office space in Farnborough, as well as a plant room. The role offers the opportunity to join a company that invest in their people, offering real opportunity to progress. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in site management overseeing the installation of mechanical packages in a commercial fit out space.

The role:

• Managing overall site activities of all Mechanical sub-contractors.

• Co-ordinating all installation of piping & mechanical equipment

• Co-ordination of activities in line with the project programme

• Monitoring daily construction resources, reviewing subcontractor RAMS before signing off

• Liaising with on- and off-site design team

• Liaising with commercial dept.

• Observing Health and Safety procedures all times.

• Attending Daily Coordination meetings for Daily Reporting of Progress.

• Reporting progress to Planning Team.

• Working to Commissioning priorities to allow Handover of sub systems etc.

• Holding weekly meetings with the on-site sub-contractor's representatives

• Delivering successful,quality, and within-budget completion of mechanical package

• Compiling snagging Lists prior to Testing and Final release of all Punch items prior to Handover to client
  
  Requirements

• Experience in a site management role within the mechanical engineering field

• Complying with all relevant procedures and deliver high standards of safety performance during all operations.

• Familiar with the permit to work system and like to implement a good safety culture throughout site.

• Experience working on large scale offices fit outs with Tier 1 and 2 contractors

• Experience managing a large team of operatives

• Reliable/good time management skills

• Good communication skills and literate in English

• Degree/HNC in Mechanical engineering or time spent mechanical engineer

• CSCS

• SSSTS

• First Aid Certification

• PASMA
