Project Engineer

We are currently looking for an experience Project Engineer for a company based in the Liverpool area that are known for their work within the Process Industry.

THE ROLE:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading upgrade and restoration projects across the site in question. We require a self starter comfortable working under minimal supervision.

The successful candidate will be required to:

• project manage the daily activities of multi discipline contractors reporting back to head office on a daily / weekly report basis.

• issue daily permits.

• lead routine daily site checks

• oversee all pipework installation

• ensure all correct health & safety regulations are followed

• ensure the project is run to plan, on time and within budget

THE PERSON:

The ideal Project Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

• Experience managing small site upgrades within a plant environment

• Suitable previous industry experience within Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Energy and / or Oil & Gas is required

• Strong mechanical engineering experience

• Knowledge of CDM regulations
