Quality Technician - Automotive

We are currently looking for a driven Quality Technician to join a Tier 1 Automotive business based in Liverpool area. The business has a market leading product and supply globally in to a number of OEMs.

The Role

Reporting into the Quality Manager as a Quality Technician you will be controlling and monitoring Quality issues and ensuring that all internal quality functions comply with customer quality standards. You will need be able to identify quality improvements and assist with their implementation to find long term solutions

The Person

It is essential that candidates have:

• Previous experience within an automotive or fast paced manufacturing environment

• Good computer skills - Microsoft, Word, Excel

• Understanding of JIT/ Sequence management and LEAN manufacturing concepts

• Good problem solving skills, 5 why analysis

• Practical problem solving tools, PPS and 8D

• Looking to broaden skills within the Quality team working their way up to Quality Engineer

• Ideally degree qualified
