How would you like to be starting a new Senior M&E QS position in the New Year?

The client that I am currently representing is searching for a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor on a PAYE basis to assist their current commercial team on a large scale MEP rail project based in London & Birmingham. The successful applicant for this position will be required to do occasional site visits to the Birmingham project. The cost incurred for the travel will either be reimbursed or tickets provided beforehand.

The role has become available due to work load demand and the client would like another Senior M&E QS to assist their current team on multiple rail projects in both London and Birmingham.

The company itself is a major player within the M&E Rail sector and their current company turnover is around the £100M mark.

Personal Specification:

• Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience of working within M&E or managing M&E subcontractors.

• Strong communication skills.

• Have a strong contractual understanding.

• Strong NEC experience.

• Experience with measuring on site.

Job Role:

• Submission of estimate/ tendering information to the client.

• Preparation of appropriate documentation

• Assisting on VO's

• Attending meetings

• Presentation of final accounts, including negotiation of all contractual agreements.

• Close liaison to the client on all commercial matters, including preparation and submission of supporting information.
