Are you looking for a new Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor opportunity?

I am currently looking to speak to Senior M&E QS who are ideally located in Cambridge or who are able to travel to site in Cambridge. The client that I am representing is looking for a Senior M&E QS to come in on a permanent basis and assist on their current commercial project which also has elements of Fit-Out on the job.

This client is a large M&E sub-contractor who are currently turning over around £100M per year and have a full order book moving into 2022. They are a very well-known Tier 1 sub-contractor who are a market leader in the M&E Commercial sector.

Job Role:

• Assisting with VO's

• Monitoring of change with the scope of works

• Preparing and issuing of contract documents through the supply chain.

• Liaise with the client, main contractor and other departments.

• Provide fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimates.

• Produce accurate monthly reports and attend financial and project review meetings as required.

Personal Specification:

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Quantity Surveying.

• Two or three years' experience working as a M&E QS

• Strong communication skills and being able to communicate and negotiate with clients on a professional level.

• Experience working on Fit-Out projects

• NEC contracts
