Are you someone who is wanting to be working on prestigious M&E projects?

I am currently looking to speak to senior mechanical and electrical quantity surveyor who are open to new opportunities working for M&E sub contractors on large prestigious commercial projects in the heart of London.

The client:

The client that I am currently representing is a tier one mechanical and electrical sub-contractor who are well known for their success within the M&E commercial sector. They're a cash rich company who managed to turn over more than £120M during the pandemic and are forecast to better this in 2022 with a full order book already confirmed.

The project:

The successful applicant will be in charge of a very prestigious project which is due to last 7 years. This opportunity offers security over the 7 year period and also exposure to one of the best projects which is due to start in London. The successful senior quantity surveyor will be in charge of their own team and will be working independently on site where the project is being based.

Personal Specification:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Sub contract experience

  • Client facing

  • Experience with NEC contracts options A & C

Job Role:

  • Submission of estimate/ tendering information to the client.

  • Preparation of appropriate documentation.

  • Assisting on VO's.

  • Reviewing quotes.

  • Letting packages to other sub-contractors.

  • Sending out enquiries.

  • Attending meetings.

  • Presentation of final accounts, including negotiation of all contractual agreements.

  • Close liaison to the client on all commercial matters, including preparation and submission of supporting information.

  • Daily communication with the main client.
