Senior Mechanical Project Manager

£400 p/d- outside IR35

Manchester

My client are specialise in mission critical projects, they are one of the busiest General Contractors in this sector, in the North West right now. This is an excellent opportunity for a Lead Project Manager to join a business that could potentially be on their doorstep.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the Senior Mechanical Project Manager, will be a key member of the business, delivering this particular Data Centre for them. The project itself is for a Data Centre, so if you have worked within similar sectors, or even if your experience is only within mission critical, I would love to speak to you about this opportunity!

In the role you will work with other subcontractors on site, lead meetings, and work closely with the end clients, setting out key targets, so that the key objectives are met. Key objectives within the Senior Mechanical Project Manager role will include:

-Reviewing the project deadlines, and project strategy

-Setting objectives for other team members

-Reporting on the different phases of the project and your progression against these to the end client

-Responsible for all Mechanical systems on site from a technical perspective- the role itself you will be number 1 on site, however due to the volume of mechanical systems on site we are looking for someone mechanically biased.

The Person

The business are looking for a career focused Senior Mechanical Project Manager that is motivated and experienced within this sector. Key criteria for the role will include:

-At least 5 years of experienced working as a Senior Project Manager

-Must be experienced within the Mission Critical Sector

-Excellent communication skills, for the element of dealing with clients and other subcontractors

-Mechanically biased (any mechanical qualifications relevant would also be helpful)

The successful Senior Mechanical Project Manager, will be joining a company, the busiest in the northwest right now. With the north west becoming extremely busy in data centres, this is an exciting time.
