Are you looking for a new opportunity working site based on exciting commercial projects in London?

I am currently on looking to speak to senior mechanical and electrical quantity surveyors for M&E QS's who are looking to take a step up working for an M&E sub-contractor who are based in London.

The successful applicant for the senior M&E quantity surveying opportunity will be reporting into the Commercial Lead for the business on a day to day basis.

The client:

Is one of the market leaders within the mechanical and electrical sub-contractor sector. This client is well known for delivering success projects within the commercial and health care sector. Due to this success, this client is currently looking to add to their commercial team as new projects have been secured.

This client turned over £60M during the pandemic and are forecast to have an even better 2022 financially!

Job Role:

• Assisting with VO's

• Monitoring of change with the scope of works

• Preparing and issuing of contract documents through the supply chain.

• Liaise with the client, main contractor and other departments.

• Provide fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimates.

• Produce accurate monthly reports and attend financial and project review meetings as required.

• Assist with mentoring more junior members of the team.

Personal Specification:

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Quantity Surveying.

• Excellent knowledge of both Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveying.

• NEC contract experience.

• Strong communication skills and being able to communicate and negotiate with clients on a professional level.

• Pro active

• Commercial experience
