The Role

Reporting to the head of engineering, the Test & Development engineer will be focused on design verification and prototyping of safety critical & highly innovative consumer based products. They will be a lead in the Test and Prototyping function and team, assisting with the direction of all prototyping, validation and verification activities across various function groups and product categories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead projects within Test and Prototyping function

• Ownership and direction of product and prototype creation and analysis

• Overall management of a development facility

• Identify new and alternative technologies that can improve accuracy, efficiency and quality of prototype and test development

• As the test & development engineer, provide technical leadership for prototyping and test selection equipment design and test methodology

The Person

The company would like to bring in a career drive an enthusiastic Test & Development engineer to complement the existing engineering team. Key criteria for the role will be as follows;

• Qualified to HNC level or above in relevant engineering discipline (mechanical or electrical bias)

• Experienced in test/ Development/ Validation processes of engineered products

• Ideally have working knowledge of tools like tools like: LabVIEW, Creo, Ansys

• Does not need to have worked in management but can demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement/ supervisory qualities

• Excellent communicator
