We’re supporting a major mission-critical Data Centre project in Paris and are looking to engage an experienced Medium Voltage Authorised Person (MV AP) on a 6-month contract. This is a fast-paced, high-profile environment where you will join an established team of 4 APs, working closely with the Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to ensure the safe planning, coordination, and execution of all HV/MV switching and energisation activities.
This role is critical to maintaining safe systems of work and ensuring all electrical operations are delivered in line with strict site procedures and client requirements.

Contract Details
- Location: Paris, France
- Duration: 6 Months
- Rotation: 10-4
- Client: General Contractor (Data Centre Project)
- Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Medium Voltage Authorised Person
- Support the SAP in planning and executing switching programmes
- Carry out HV/MV isolations, restorations, and live switching operations
- Ensure Permit-to-Work (PTW) and LOTO procedures are carried out.
- Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety rules and procedures.
- Liaise with commissioning teams, contractors, and client stakeholders
- Support energisation activities and coordinate outage planning
- Maintain accurate records of switching schedules and safety documentation
Ideal Background
- Proven experience as an MV Authorised Person (or HV AP in similar environments)
- Strong background in Data Centres, mission-critical, or large-scale infrastructure projects
- Solid understanding of HV/MV switching operations and safety systems
- Experience working within live operational environments
- Confident managing permits, isolations, and energisation processes
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within structured teams
