About the Company
Founded in 2009, our client is a well-established Building Management Systems (BMS) specialist delivering complex projects across London and the surrounding areas. With a team of approximately 75 employees and a strong pipeline of secured work, they have built an excellent reputation within mission-critical environments, particularly data centres.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a BMS Engineer to support one of their Technical Account Managers and play a key role in delivering projects from day one.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated BMS Engineer who is looking to develop their technical skills and progress within a growing business. The successful candidate will work across a variety of projects, supporting commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and customer support activities.
While the majority of projects are within the data centre sector, candidates from other commercial, industrial, or critical environment backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and maintenance of BMS projects across London and the surrounding areas.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot BMS system faults and performance issues.
- Work with HVAC systems and associated field devices.
- Assist with PLC integrations and third-party system interfaces.
- Support commissioning, modifications, upgrades, and optimisation of BMS installations.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
- Provide technical support alongside the Technical Account Management team.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company and client standards.
- Participate in occasional out-of-hours and weekend works where required.
Requirements
Essential
- Experience working with Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and associated components.
- Experience troubleshooting control systems and field devices.
- Familiarity with PLC integrations and communication protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to develop professionally.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
Desirable
- Experience with platforms such as:
- Trend
- Ignition
- Schneider Electric EcoStruxure
- Experience within data centres or other critical environments.
- Full UK driving licence.
