BMS Project Manager – Data Centre – Netherlands

We are currently recruiting for an experienced BMS Project Manager to support a major data centre construction project in the Netherlands, delivering a BMS integration and commissioning package on an initial 6-month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Project Manager with proven experience delivering Building Management Systems (BMS), controls, integration, and commissioning packages within fast-paced data centre or mission critical environments.

The Role

You will take ownership of the delivery of the BMS integration & commissioning scope, coordinating stakeholders, managing programme delivery, and ensuring technical execution aligns with project milestones, quality expectations, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full delivery of the BMS integration & commissioning package
• Coordinate BMS engineers, commissioning teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders
• Drive programme delivery to meet key project milestones
• Oversee commissioning strategy, testing, and handover activities
• Manage technical queries, scope changes, and project reporting
• Ensure quality, compliance, and health & safety standards are maintained throughout delivery
• Liaise with M&E contractors, commissioning teams, consultants, and end clients
• Support project meetings, progress reviews, and commercial/project controls where required

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering BMS / Building Automation / Controls projects
• Strong technical understanding of BMS integration, controls systems, and commissioning
• Experience delivering within data centres, mission critical, or complex construction environments
• Knowledge of major BMS platforms such as Schneider EcoStruxure, Siemens, Trend, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Tridium, Delta Controls, Rockwell / Allen Bradley beneficial
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
• Ability to manage fast-moving site-based project delivery
• Full right to work in Europe is essential
