BMS Project Manager – Data Centre – Frankfurt

We are currently recruiting for an experienced BMS Project Manager to support a major data centre construction project in Frankfurt, working directly with a General Contractor on a long-term delivery programme.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong BMS Project Manager with proven experience delivering Building Management Systems, controls integration, and commissioning packages within data centre or mission critical environments.

With all flights and accommodation covered, this is a strong opportunity for contractors open to travelling for project delivery.

The Role

You will take ownership of the delivery of the BMS package on a high-profile data centre construction project, coordinating technical delivery, programme milestones, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to ensure successful execution from installation through commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of the BMS package on a major data centre project
• Coordinate BMS engineers, commissioning teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
• Drive programme delivery against key construction milestones
• Oversee integration, testing, commissioning, and handover activities
• Manage technical queries, project reporting, and scope coordination
• Liaise with the General Contractor, consultants, M&E teams, and specialist subcontractors
• Ensure quality, compliance, and HSE standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle
• Support commercial awareness, planning, and progress tracking where required

Requirements

• Proven experience as a BMS Project Manager
• Strong technical background in BMS / Building Automation / Controls
• Experience delivering data centre / mission critical projects
• Strong understanding of BMS integration, commissioning, testing, and handover
• Experience working with General Contractors, M&E contractors, or specialist controls integrators
• Knowledge of systems such as Schneider EcoStruxure, Siemens, Trend, Honeywell, Tridium, JCI, Delta, Rockwell / Allen Bradley beneficial
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced live construction environment
