Shift pattern: 12-hour days, 4 on / 4 off, including some weekends

This role supports customers and internal stakeholders within a fast-paced data centre environment. You will provide responsive, accurate service across multiple channels, ensuring issues are logged, progressed, and resolved in line with agreed service levels. The position requires excellent attention to detail, calm decision-making, and the ability to co-ordinate effectively with on-site operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer queries via phone, email, and ticketing systems in a professional and timely manner.
  • Log, triage, and manage incidents and service requests, ensuring clear categorisation, prioritisation, and ownership.
  • Provide regular updates to customers and stakeholders until resolution, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Co-ordinate with data centre operations, remote hands, facilities, and technical teams to progress requests.
  • Maintain accurate records, follow standard operating procedures, and support service reporting and handovers.
  • Identify recurring issues and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and knowledge base articles.

Requirements

  • Must be fluent in French (written and oral) and able to communicate confidently with French-speaking customers.
  • Fluent in English (written and oral) for internal communication and documentation.
  • Proven customer service experience in a service desk, operations, technical support, or similar environment.
  • Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts (4 on / 4 off) including weekends with reliable timekeeping.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain processes clearly and manage expectations.
  • Strong IT literacy (ticketing tools, email, MS Office) and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Organised approach with strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Understanding of data centre, IT services, or facilities environments is beneficial (training will be provided).
