Job Title: Life Safety & ELV Commissioning Engineers (Contracts)

Location: Zurich, Switzerland

Contract: 4-6 Months

Rate: Market Rate CHF / EU per hour + accommodation - to be discussed (depending on experience & requirements)

Overview

We are seeking experienced Life Safety & ELV Commissioning Engineers for a Data Centre project in Zurich, Switzerland. You will be responsible for commissioning, testing, and integration of ELV, security and life safety systems in line with project and Swiss compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Commissioning and testing of ELV & Life Safety systems
• Point-to-point checks, loop testing, and validation
• Cause & Effect testing (fire & safety systems)
• Supporting FAT / SAT / IST
• System integration with BMS / security platforms
• Fault finding, troubleshooting, and reporting

Systems Experience

Life Safety

• Fire alarms (Siemens, Honeywell, Notifier etc)
• VESDA / smoke detection
• Emergency lighting

ELV

• Access Control (Lenel, C-Cure, Gallagher, SiPass)
• CCTV (Axis, Bosch, Hikvision, Milestone, Genetec)
• Intruder Alarms & Perimeter Security
• Intercom / PA systems
• Basic networking (IP, fibre, switches)

Requirements

• Proven commissioning experience in ELV / Life Safety systems
• Data centre or large commercial project experience preferred
• Knowledge of BACnet / Modbus / TCP/IP
• EU passport or valid Swiss work permit
• English required (German/French beneficial)
