Principal Electronics Design Engineer

Qualifications / skills required

Essential:

• A minimum of HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, demonstrating your strong education background.
• Extensive experience in electronic design, ideally in a regulated or high?reliability industry.
• A team player mentality, thriving in a collaborative and supportive work environment. Quick learner with a flexible and adaptable approach.
• Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and techniques.
• Strong analogue circuit design and simulation experience.
• Electronics communication protocol experience, e.g. RS485, I2C, SPI
• Experience with schematic capture and drawing review.
• Understanding of PCB layout supervision.
• Ability to plan own tasks and communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels.

Desirable:

• Experience with EMC design.
• Digital circuit design.
• Wiring definition experience.
• Experience with Altium Designer.
• Experience working within the defence or aerospace.
