I am currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Engineer for a data centre project in Frankfurt. As the Mechanical Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical commissioning activities of the data centre project, ensuring all systems are installed and operating according to the design specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate and execute all mechanical commissioning activities of the data centre project
  • Review and approve mechanical commissioning plans, test procedures and reports
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations
  • Manage and direct contractors during commissioning activities
  • Troubleshoot and identify issues during commissioning activities
  • Document all commissioning activities and report progress to the project management team
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, such as electrical and controls engineers, to ensure all systems are commissioned and integrated correctly
  • Ensure all commissioning activities are completed safely and efficiently

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical commissioning
  • Experience with data centre commissioning is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, codes and standards
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Right to work in Frankfurt
