Job Title: BIM Coordinator - Mission Critical Projects

Overview:
Our client, a leading contractor in the delivery of high-value mission critical construction projects, is seeking a site-based BIM Coordinator to join their team in Galway. This is a key role that involves close collaboration between the general contractor (GC) and subcontractors to ensure seamless coordination and implementation of BIM processes on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the on-site point of contact for all BIM coordination activities.
• Facilitate clash detection and model coordination between GC and subcontractors.
• Oversee and support subcontractors in the development, submission, and integration of their models in line with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Ensure models are up-to-date and reflect current site progress and design changes.
• Coordinate regular BIM meetings and manage issue tracking through relevant platforms.
• Liaise with the design team to resolve model-related issues and discrepancies.
• Support construction sequencing, logistics planning, and other 4D/5D BIM uses on site.
• Provide input into installation methodology and support digital construction workflows.

Requirements:

• 3+ years' experience in a BIM Coordinator or BIM Engineer role, ideally in mission critical sectors (data centres, life sciences, or industrial).
• Proven experience working on live construction sites and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Navisworks, Revit, and BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Understanding of construction methodologies, MEP systems, and project delivery processes.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to resolve issues under pressure.
• Relevant third-level qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or related field.
