Quantity Surveyor - Data Centre Project

Location: Groningen (Netherlands)
Type: Permanent (Contract considered)
Start: Immediate, ideally before July 2025
Day Rate: €800 per day
Rotation: Minimum on-site Monday 12:00 to Thursday afternoon (full-time site presence preferred)
Duration: 12 months (with long-term potential, likely to be extended)

The Role

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join an exciting Groningen Data Centre project team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly valuations and agree change orders directly with contractors.

• Lead commercial negotiations and progress reviews.

• Engage directly with the client and project stakeholders on valuations and variations.

• Provide technical MEP input - CV must demonstrate clear M&E knowledge and scope.

• Collaborate with the Dublin office to develop future travelling QS teams.

Ideal Candidate

• 3-4 year's Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in data centres, mission-critical, or large MEP projects.

• MEP/CSA technical background - either through education or hands-on project exposure.

• Comfortable with European site work and regular travel rotations.

• A strong, team-oriented personality who thrives on-site and welcomes challenge.

• Open to candidates from both contractor and consultancy backgrounds, though practical, delivery-focused profiles are preferred.
