BIM Coordinator - Mission Critical Projects

About the Role


We are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join our team delivering large-scale mission critical projects, including data centres and pharmaceutical facilities across Germany. You'll play a pivotal role in driving digital delivery, coordinating multi-disciplinary models, and ensuring full compliance with BIM standards and client requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate BIM models across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and process disciplines for complex mission critical projects.
  • Manage federated models, ensuring clash-free design coordination using platforms such as Navisworks, Solibri, and Revit.
  • Enforce project BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and support compliance with ISO 19650 standards.
  • Collaborate closely with design teams, contractors, and clients to ensure digital deliverables align with project milestones.
  • Support BIM Managers in developing workflows, templates, and digital standards specific to the mission critical environment.
  • Conduct model audits, clash detection sessions, and coordination meetings.
  • Maintain model integrity, data quality, and information consistency throughout the design and construction lifecycle.
  • Provide technical support and mentoring to project teams in BIM tools and processes.
  • Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement in BIM and digital engineering practices.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a BIM coordination role within data centres, pharmaceuticals, or other mission critical sectors.
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and familiarity with BIM 360 / ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud).
  • Working knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and BIM Level 2 requirements.
  • Experience coordinating MEP-heavy projects with high technical and spatial complexity.
  • Excellent understanding of model federation, clash detection, and data management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology, Engineering, or Construction Management (or equivalent).
  • Autodesk certifications or BIM coordination/digital construction qualifications.
  • Experience with Revit API, Dynamo, or other automation tools is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of COBie, Power BI, or digital twin integration is beneficial.
