Our client, a leading electrical subcontractor headquartered in Ireland, is seeking an experienced Electrical Testing Manager to lead and oversee testing operations across major data centre projects in Europe.

This is a pivotal leadership role for an individual with deep technical expertise in electrical testing and proven experience managing large testing teams on complex construction or mission-critical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all electrical testing activities across multiple European data centre projects.

• Manage and coordinate a team of 50+ electrical testers, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

• Provide technical leadership on testing procedures, standards, and documentation (including FAT/SAT, commissioning, and verification).

• Liaise closely with project management, QA/QC, and client teams to ensure compliance with design and industry standards.

• Develop testing strategies, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement in testing operations.

• Support recruitment, training, and development of testing personnel across sites.

• Ensure all testing documentation and reports are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.

Requirements:

• Recognised electrical qualification (e.g. Degree, Diploma, or Trade Certification).

• Extensive experience in electrical testing within large-scale industrial or data centre environments.

• Proven background managing large, distributed testing teams (ideally 30+ staff).

• Strong understanding of LV/MV systems, testing procedures, and commissioning workflows.

• Excellent organisational and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate teams across multiple countries.

• Willingness to travel across Europe as project needs dictate.
