Contract LV Authorised Person (LVAP) opportunity in Limerick to join a leading M&E contractor recognised for having some of the strongest electrical safety standards and procedures in the industry. This is a long-term contract role on a high-profile project, offering stability and a professional, safety-first working environment.

Role Overview

Position: Low Voltage Authorised Person (LVAP)
Contract Length: 12 Months
Location: Limerick, Ireland
Start Date: Between 9th February and 25th February

Key Responsibilities

• Act as LV Authorised Person, ensuring all LV electrical works are carried out safely and in compliance with site procedures

• Issue and manage Permits to Work, isolations, and switching activities

• Ensure full compliance with electrical safety rules, method statements, and risk assessments

• Liaise with site teams, contractors, and management to maintain safe systems of work

• Support commissioning, testing, and energisation activities where required

Requirements

• Proven experience working as an LV Authorised Person on large-scale industrial, commercial, or mission-critical projects

• Strong understanding of electrical safety rules, isolations, and permit systems

• Background in M&E, data centres, pharmaceuticals, or large infrastructure projects is highly desirable

• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining excellent communication with site teams

• Right to work in Ireland
