Senior Electrical Project Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Electrical Project / Field Engineer to join an established MEP contractor working on major projects in Milan.

You’ll be involved across the technical delivery of the electrical works, working closely with the Project Manager, site teams, subcontractors and client.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the technical delivery of electrical works on site
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Coordinate electrical installations with the wider MEP team
• Work with subcontractors and site teams to resolve technical issues
• Support inspections, testing and commissioning
• Monitor progress and ensure works are delivered to specification
• Assist with technical queries, RFIs and design changes
• Attend project and coordination meetings
• Support the Project Manager with day-to-day technical delivery

Experience required:

• Strong electrical engineering background within MEP construction
• Previous experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer, Project Engineer or Field Engineer
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects
• Good understanding of electrical installation and commissioning
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications
• Data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or other mission-critical experience is advantageous
• Strong English required; Italian would be beneficial
