We are looking for a Senior Avionics Design Engineer, for a growing and extremely successful business. They have landed a new project and on the back of this looking to grow their team on a permanent basis. You will be on site a couple of days a week, with the rest working from home.

In terms of the day to day, your key responsibilities, will include:
Responsible for the design, development, and integration of avionics and aircraft electrical systems, ensuring full compliance with customer technical requirements, regulatory standards, and aviation certification criteria.
Define and specify aircraft equipment, electrical components, avionic systems, and installation architectures to support system testing, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and pre-installation verification prior to final aircraft installation and certification approval.
Develop comprehensive avionic and electrical design solutions, including wiring diagrams, system schematics, interconnection diagrams, and modification drawings, to support aircraft upgrades, retrofits, and modifications.
Produce complete design verification and certification support documentation for aircraft modifications, including Test Plans, Design Office Instructions (DOIs), Design Specifications, Equipment Assessments, and Safety Assessments, in accordance with airworthiness and regulatory requirements.
Ensure all avionic and electrical design documentation is technically accurate, fully traceable, and aligned with industry best practices, safety standards, and aviation regulatory compliance.
