We are seeking an experienced Project Planner to support advanced construction delivery on major Data Centre construction projects in Kristiansand, Norway. You will act as the project planner and project scheduler, developing and maintaining robust programmes that provide clear visibility of progress, risks, and forecast outcomes across multi-discipline works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimise integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 (Primavera), aligned to scope, sequencing, and contractual milestones.
  • Establish planning standards, coding structures, calendars,  enable consistent reporting and earned value tracking.
  • Produce baseline programmes, lookahead plans, and progress updates; manage change, re-baselining, and scenario planning as required.
  • Carry out critical path, float, and what-if analysis; identify schedule risks, constraints, and mitigation actions.
  • Collect progress from site teams and subcontractors; validate updates with evidence and ensure accurate status reporting.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly planning packs, dashboards, and narrative reports for stakeholders.
  • Support interface management across design, procurement, commissioning, and construction workstreams for data centre delivery.
  • Contribute to delay analysis, claims support documentation, and lessons learned.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Project Planner / Project Scheduler within advanced construction; data centre experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong Primavera P6 (Primavera) capability, including baselining, resource/cost loading (where applicable), and reporting.
  • Sound understanding of construction sequencing, commissioning readiness, and phased handover requirements typical of Data Centre construction.
  • Competence in schedule risk awareness, progress measurement, and high-quality stakeholder communication.
  • Proficient with Excel and planning/reporting tools; able to present complex information clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, safety-critical environments and manage competing priorities.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or demonstrable relevant experience).
  • Planning/scheduling accreditation or training is advantageous.
